Search Engine Marketing Manager (Experience with PPC A MUST)

The Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager will strategize, design, measure and implement optimization campaigns to provide the best service possible to our SEM clients.  The SEM Manager would manage our SEM teams as well as present solutions to clients in the field.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to work in this highly visible position leading and motivating the SEM team as well maintain close client contact and oversee all matters relating to customer service and outreach sales.

•·         Serve as the in-house expert on search marketing, optimization, and campaign design.

•·         Serve as the contact for key accounts and sales personnel to ensure our highest profile initiatives are given the best service possible.

•·         Provide SEM support staff with appropriate work assignments, address disciplinary and/or performance problems and ensure SEM staff members have appropriate training and resources to perform their jobs.

•·         Schedule, conduct and attend on-site client meetings; visit clients off-site when necessary. Coordinate client training on the SEM processes and systems.

•·         A minimum of 5 years experience in search, PPC, and related business required.

•·         Experience working with large monthly search budgets exceeding $1M.

•·         Knowledge of search engine technologies (algorithms, ranking strategies and industry trends)

•·         Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar traffic analysis tools.

•·         SEO Architecting proficiency (site structure, page construction, content, keyword research and SEO copywriting).

•·         Prior project management experience is desired.

•·         Certified Google Advertising Professional, a plus.
